Order granted to close club

Police obtained a High Court injunction to close down The Limit nightclub in Manchester city centre, where shootings have occurred. Under normal procedure, application would have been made to a magistrates' court, but this would have allowed the club owner to appeal for an adjournment and to continue trading.
