Pub ban for town's mayor
A mayor has been banned from almost every pub in his town after a long-running row with a landlord.
Teesdale Pub Watch imposed a 12-month ban on Tony Cooke, mayor of Barnard Castle, Co Durham, for allegedly being rude to staff at the Beaconsfield pub in a dispute about the way to make a shandy.
