Two 15-year-old boys have been stabbed at a school site in Dulwich, south London, the Metropolitan Police said.

A third teenager has been arrested in relation to the attacks, which happened at Alleyn Park at about 3.30pm.

The Metropolitan Police said: "One teenager is in a critical condition. The other boy is in a stable condition."

Both victims have been taken to a south London hospital, while the arrested boy was taken to a local police station.

The incident took place at the Kingsdale Foundation School, where staff were having meetings with deputy headteacher Andrew Sear on Thursday afternoon.

It is understood the school was not evacuated, however some students were kept inside until the situation was resolved.

The London Ambulance Service was called to the school just before 3.30pm.

A spokesman said: "We sent a number of resources including two ambulance crews, an incident response officer and London's air ambulance to the scene."

"We treated two patients at the scene and they were taken to hospital."
