Frozen greens 'are nutritious'
Frozen fruit and vegetables can contain as much vitamin C as fresh produce, according to the Consumers' Association magazine Which? way to Health. Its report analysed fresh, frozen and canned fruit and vegetables to see how much vitamin C they contained - a good indicator of overall vitamin content. Frozen and sometimes canned products could be just as nutritious. Vitamins C and E and beta-carotene in fruit and vegetables may protect against cancer.
