Pub landlord in court over freezer murder
A pub landlord will appear in court today accused of murdering his 29-year-old partner whose body was found in a freezer.
Michael Tucker, 49, landlord of The Compasses Inn in Snettisham, Norfolk, is charged with killing landlady Rebecca Thorpe.
Detectives arrested Tucker after Miss Thorpe's body was found in a freezer in an outbuilding at the pub in March.
A post-mortem examination found she died from a gunshot wound to the head.
Tucker is due to enter a plea during today's hearing at Norwich Crown Court.
