Police are seeking a man wanted in connection with a racist assault on a woman which had left her with a fractured skull and jaw.

The 38-year-old victim was in the kitchen of Bon Bons, a massage parlour on Barlow Moor Road, Manchester, when a man walked in and began being verbally abusive.

As the tone of the abuse took a racial turn, she ushered the man to the front door where she was struck with a glass bottle and kicked as she fell to the floor.

The male then left the property. He is described as being white, in his 20s, 6ft tall with dark hair, blue eyes and a local accent. He wore a blue hooded top, jeans and trainers.

The incident happened on 6 February at roughly 1.15am, with police now re-appealing for witnesses.

“This was a vicious and violent attack that has left a woman with a fractured skull and two fractures to her jaw. She is still receiving treatment for her injuries to this day,” Detective Constable Paul Jackson said.

“We have issued an appeal previously but I am still keen for information to come forward and if anyone recognises the person in the image, please call police [on 101 or 0800 555 111].”
