Bottleneck slows the pace as 30,000 cyclists pedal towards Brighton
Some of the 30,000 participants in yesterday's London-to-Brighton cycle ride making slow progress as they queue to cross a road at Nutfield, Surrey. Nine people were hurt, two of them suffering serious head injuries, in pile-ups during the event, held to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
