Sharon Hall, 23, from Newcastle upon Tyne, has died in hospital nine days after a knife attack at a bingo hall which killed her mother.

Ms Hall's mother Lillian, 60, died instantly in the attack, which took place in front of hundreds of people during an interval at the Essoldo bingo hall.

Last week, a 32-year-old man appeared before Newcastle magistrates charged with Mrs Hall's murder and her daughter's attempted murder.
