Baby injury fine

Kevin Hunt, 41, a lift engineer, was fined pounds 1,750 for negligence over a 17-day-old baby girl who had her thumb sliced off. She was catapulted on to the roof of an elevator he was repairing in Portsmouth, Hampshire, when its doors shut on her pram.
