The Princess Royal, President, Riding for the Disabled Association, visits the South Dartmoor Group, Crossways, Yelverton, Devon; and as President, Save the Children Fund, attends a 75th Birthday Appeal Reception at the China Fleet Club, Saltash, Cornwall. Princess Margaret attends the service of re-dedication of HMS Illustrious at Portsmouth, Hampshire. The Duke of Kent takes the salute at the Royal Tournament, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London SW5.
Buckingham Palace
The Queen's Gallery at Buckingham Palace opens between 10am and 5pm, and last admission is at 4.30pm. The Royal Mews opens between 12pm and 4pm, and last admission is at 3.30pm.
Changing of the Guard
The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am; 2nd Battalion Grenadier Guards mounts the Queen's Guard, at Buckingham Palace, 11.30am, band provided by the Scots Guards.
