Tiger Woods rocked as US magazine claims he fathered a love child

A gossip magazine is claiming Tiger Woods may have fathered a love child, while actor George Clooney has been forced to deny he had been having a relationship with one of the golfer's alleged lovers.

It has been reported that Clooney had been seeing 24-year-old Jaimee Grubbs at the same time that the cocktail waitress was having an affair with the world’s best golfer.

E! News reports that Grubbs claims to have had a concurrent relationship with the Ocean’s 11 star and had been seeing the actor up until two months ago.

When asked about Clooney in an interview US Weekly, Grubbs said: “I know him”, but refused to go into detail.

Meanwhile, The National Enquirer is reporting that Woods may have fathered a love child and that one of his mistresses had an abortion.

Yesterday a cocktail waitress who claims to have had an affair with Woods apologised to the superstar’s wife on US television.

Jaimee Grubbs (24) told entertainment show Extra said she was “deeply sorry” for sleeping with Elin Nordegren's husband.

She claims she had an affair with Woods for almost three years after meeting him at a Las Vegas club when she was 21.

Grubbs said: “I guess I would be deeply sorry for never considering her during the whole process.

“And him not bringing her up was just a way for me to pretend that he didn't have one (wife) and

for me not to deal with it.” She added: “I couldn't describe how remorseful that I am to have hurt her family and her emotionally.”

But she defended herself by saying: “If it wasn't me, it was going to be the other girls.”

It came as a US congressman abandoned his attempts to have Tiger Woods awarded the Congressional Gold Medal in the wake of the backlash against his multiple infidelities.

Joe Baca, a Democrat from California and keen golfer, had nominated Woods for the medal, the highest civilian award that Congress can bestow.

Beleaguered Woods (33) has faced a barrage of embarrassing publicity in recent weeks after at least 10 women — including waitresses, nightclub hostesses and porn stars — have been linked to him over alleged affairs.

His wife, Elin Nordegren, a former Swedish model with whom he has two young children, has moved out of the family's home in Florida.

Friends have claimed she is devastated by her husband's behaviour but plans to remain with him for the sake of their children, Sam and Charlie.

A friend told People magazine: “She is a child of divorce and that's not something she's likely to want. She really believes in the importance of parents staying together.”
