Paul Walker’s surviving daughter, Meadow Walker, has made her first public appearance since she was left devastated by the tragic death of her father.

The Fast & Furious actor passed away after the car he was a passenger in collided with a street light on 30 November.

But the 15-year-old girl put on a brave face when she attended the world's first screening of Justin Bieber’s new documentary, Believe, on Wednesday.

A representative of the event confirmed her attendance to US Weekly, saying that she chose to keep her presence low-key, skipping the red carpet and omitting photographs during the night out at the Regal Cinemas.

She was joined by other young stars at the premiere, including Kylie Jenner, Jaden Smith and Kiernan Shipka among others.

It’s been a tough week for the teenager, who saw her father laid to rest during an emotional funeral service on Sunday, followed by a football wake on the beach in Santa Barbara.

The service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in the Hollywood Hills marked an opportunity for Walker’s closest friends and family to say goodbye to the Fast & Furious star, who died alongside Roger Rodas in a car crash last month.

“A few people got up and gave tributes to Paul,” a source told US Weekly. “It was hard for many people to talk, they were in tears and couldn't finish what they were saying.

“It was a really sad day for so many people, and you could tell they just weren't ready to say goodbye. His parents were there, along with his brothers and some other family members. Everyone was hugging each other tight and didn't want to let go.”

Ludacris shared images of the Order of Service via his Instagram account. Tyrese Gibson also paid a further tribute to the star, posting the following message:

“Today In a room full of your loved ones I wish today was your wedding instead.... God has a better plan even beyond ALL of our own understandings...... For selfish reasons we all wanted you to stay, another laugh, another take, another talk, another moment..... I guess you can't get all you ask for in life.... But our hearts are FULL from all the moments we DID have, 13 years of laughter and grace, humility and love.....

The intimate ceremony follows a public memorial last weekend.

Thousands gathered to lay gifts and take part in a motor procession in Santa Clarita, where Paul and Roger died.

Fans revved their engines in honour at the social media-organised event, which was also attended by friends of the actor, including co-star Rick Yune.

This week, investigators revealed that Paul Walker’s death was not caused by a mechanical problem with the Porsche Carrera GT that Rodas was driving.

Speaking anonymously, a police official said that the driver of the car had lost control of the vehicle due to “speed, and speed alone”.

In other news, Justin Bieber fans will be breathing a sigh of relief over recent claims that the singer was set to retire.

Manager Scooter Braun confirmed that his artist was “just kidding” when he made the announcement on a US radio station earlier this week.

“Next year he's taking a break just to make music and relax, take some time for himself for the first time since he was 12,” he told ITN at the Believe premiere.
