Glastonbury appearance was magical, says Kylie
Appearing at Glastonbury five years after her battle with cancer forced her to pull out of the festival was "just magical", Kylie Minogue said today.
Describing the moment she walked on stage to huge applause, she told GMTV: "That was just magical, really.
"I had about four and a half minutes to try and take everything in and it was just great to be there with such good friends."
She said she was too busy "trying not to take a tumble on the stage" to think too much about the significance of her appearance on stage.
She said: "At a certain point I did look out to the audience, which is the most incredible sight, and the energy is incredible, and just thought, 'okay I've now had a taste of it'."
The star joined US disco group Scissor Sisters on stage to perform Any Which Way last weekend.
In 2005 she was due to headline the festival but had to cancel when she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
The singer said her health is "pretty good" but she still takes things "day by day".
The 42-year-old performed an energetic dance routine with Scissor Sisters singers Ana Matronic and Jake Shears.
