Murder hunts after 'violent' weekend

Strathclyde Police launched five murder investigations in the Glasgow area after what one officer described as one of the most violent weekends in the region for many years.

A spokesman said a 28-year-old man is to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today in connection with one of the deaths.
