Routes to learning

A conference looking at non-traditional routes into higher education will be held on 21 and 22 June at St George's Hall, Liverpool. It will look in particular at the General National Vocational Qualification and the International Baccalaureate. Speakers include Tony Higgins, chief executive of the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service, and Roger Peel, director-general of the International Baccalaureate Organisation. "Breaking the Mould" is the first in a series of conferences under the Liverpool City of Learning banner.
