Open Eye: Colourful start for new course
Jackson Pollock's colourful canvases made an appropriate backdrop to celebrate the launch of the OU's new Art and its Histories course at the Tate Galley.
Art and its Histories has become the most popular art history course ever offered by the OU, attracting more than 2,500 students in its first year. The course explores both western art and works from other traditions such as India, China, Australia and West Africa.
