The seemingly endless queues of tourists keen to see established shows in the West End are keeping the ad agency behind many of the billboards busy.

Reach4entertainment, the AIM-listed business that owns the Dewynters theatre marketing firm, says Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables and We Will Rock You look set to keep bringing in audiences for some time yet.

Reach4 was spun out of the old First Artist sports and marketing firm run by the football agent Jon Smith.

It made a loss of £419,000 in the first half of the year, 58 per cent better than the previous first half. Revenues fell by £4.9m to £34.3m.

Shirley Stapleton, finance director, said: "We have spent the last 18 months restructuring and stabilising the business. We have done all the heavy lifting and are now seeing the green shoots of recovery."
