Airlines plan
CHINA'S state-owned airlines are planning to let foreigners invest in them may also hire overseas managers as part of a campaign to reform state enterprises.
The move is part of a programme by the Civil Aviation Administration of China to improve services. CAAC oversees the 19 government-run domestic and international airlines. Shares will be offered to domestic airlines and foreign businesses. Foreign participation will also be invited in building new airports.
