Health Update: A rasher way to kill maggots

They describe in the Journal of the American Medical Association the case of a patient who, after a trip to Costa Rica, developed small, painful bumps on his back from which 'tiny white things with black eyes' protuded. Fatty strips of raw bacon were placed over the infestations and within three hours the larvae had migrated enough into the bacon to be removed with tweezers.
