The slow-food Italian artisanal mega-market Eataly in New York City launches La Scuola on October 7 with a curriculum created by renowned chef Lidia Bastianich, a partner in Eataly and dean of the new culinary school.

The classes differ in price ($25-175/€18-126.50) and length but each will accommodate up to 24 students, visiting instructors and include demonstrations, tastings and/or lectures.

La Scuola is in session with select courses October and November. By January, Eataly's site explains, the "full class schedule will kick off."
