Kim Kardashian stars in gritty shoot for System Magazine styled by husband Kanye West

The Juergen Teller lensed shoot is not Kim Kardashian's typical style.

Kim Kardashian is no stranger to photo shoots but a new editorial produced for System Magazine shows the star posing in a much grittier setting than her usual style.

Juergen Teller is the photographer behind the lens for this particular editorial, shot in France at the Chateau d'Ambleville earlier this year when the reality-tv-star was still sporting a bleach blond hairdo.

Rather than being clad in an array of designer outfits and her signature heavily made-up 'glam' - Kim is pictured with un-styled hair and relatively natural make-up.

The clothing was selected by husband Kanye West. Kim has spoken on numerous times of how her rapper/designer husband likes to have a hand in selecting her outfits.

In the series of images Kim sports a nude bodysuit (reminiscent of West's debut Adidas collection) with a satin bra-top layered over the top with black stockings and lace-up boots. The only jewellery visible is her diamond engagement ring.

The shoot also includes photos of West and as is typical of Teller's style - the photographer himself.

Teller hit headlines last year with a shoot which starred a completely unretouched Lara Stone, in the same raw, gritty style as this 'Kimye' shoot.

All the images from the shoot will be available as a special booklet on sale from tomorrow at 11am at Idea’s shop in Dover Street Market doverstreetmarket.com and online from 13th July on IDEA’s website idea-books.com and System Magazine system-magazine.com
