When Lady Gaga and her stylist Nicola Formichetti get excited by something, it usually means that whatever it is will lead the way in fashion a few months later. And currently, that something seems to be: tattoos.

While body art already celebrated a hesitant comeback in past seasons with high-fashion labels such as Chanel and mass retailers including Topshop releasing temporary tattoo sets, a new video released by Gaga and Formichetti for fashion designer Thierry Mugler is all about the real thing, with the model even sporting tattoos all over his head.

The clip was released in conjunction with Mugler's menswear show that took place in Paris this week and featured the same tattooed model, named Rick Genest. Formichetti, who is the new creative director of Mugler's fashion house, reportedly liked his body art so much after seeing it in a Facebook picture that he flew to Genest's native Montreal and made him the star of the Mugler season.

Directed by fashion photographer Mariano Vivanco, the video is set against a remix of Lady Gaga's song Scheiße (German for "shit"), which will be released on her upcoming album Born this Way.
