IN WHICH painting by which painter can you find this mooner?

DETAILS 258 came from Jacob van Ruisdael's Woodland Waterfall (c 1654) though any vaguely woody title was acceptable. The picture is in the National Gallery of Art, Washington.

The first three correct entries drawn were from: Angela Royle of Kendal, Cumbria; Ian Macdonald of Pollockshields, Glasgow; and Alan Rosser of Mumbles, Swansea.

Each will receive a bottle of champagne, as will the winners of this week's competition. Send your answers, on a postcard please, to: DETAILS 260, IoS, 1 Canada Square, Canary Wharf, London E14 5DL.
