Man forced to tweet rail staff after being locked in train toilet
Mr Staples was released by a little girl in 15 minutes, after trying his credit card
A passenger was forced to tweet Southeastern rail staff for help after he was locked in the toilets of a train.
Steven Staples sent the tweet for help from the toilets of the 7.38am service from London Blackfriars to Orpington.
Mr Staples, 38-years-old, said: "I locked it but it wouldn't unlock again after, I tried a credit card, but didn't want to break it so turned to Twitter."
Southeastern responded in a minute and sent the driver down the train, however Mr Staples driver got there just as a little girl had opened the door, 15 minutes after he sent the first tweet.
