Wednesday's selection offers a major contemporary art exhibition in Madrid, a natural cosmetics fair in Nuremberg and a nanotechnology exhibition in Tokyo, among other events.

Madrid International Contemporary Art Fair

The fair, also known as ARCO, is a colossal show at the Parque Ferial Juan Carlos 1 in Madrid. The show features modern and contemporary art from all around the globe. For its sixth edition, Los Angeles is the guest city of honor and works from around 200 galleries and almost 3000 artists will be displayed. The 29th edition of the Spanish-based arts festival aims to provide a truly global perspective on modern art and emerging creative expression. ARCO welcomed more than 190,000 people through its doors in 2009 and in 2010 it aims to feature the best and most cutting-edge contemporary art.
