Donald Trump’s horrific comments regarding Muslims and the USA has given comedians some incredibly easy material to work with.

Just after making the comments, Sacha Baron Cohen revived his infamous character Borat to take pot shots at the Republican ‘frontrunner’, calling Trump “a parody of the rich American racist."

Now, Will Ferrell has returned to SNL dressed as George W Bush, pretending to put the ex-president in the running to be Obama’s successor.

Going through a list of candidates for the White House, Ferrell eventually ends up talking about Trump, barely getting a word out as he’s just laughing to himself.

“With the hair, and the wall… Whenever I get in a bad mood I just picture his big orange Umpa Lumpa face and piss my pants.

“And now he says he wants to keep all the Muslims out. Yeah, great idea. That’s impossible to implement and not what this country’s about. That’s like saying let’s keep all the leprechauns out.” Watch below.

Eventually, Ferrell concludes: “Running a government is kind of like driving a school bus. You don't want a crazy person driving that bus.

"You want a simple, underachieving, not very educated but reliable guy behind that wheel. Someone with a steady hand who will be on time and get into one or two but no more than four accidents a year.”

“You already know that someone, and that someone is me.”

The show was hosted by Chris Hemsworth who did a fine job, but not quite as funny as Ryan Gosling’s tenure last week, when the actor could not stop laughing at his own jokes.
