While The Flash, Arrow, and Supergirl have all been hits, DC’s latest foray into television — the comedy series Powerless — has suffered from poor ratings.

As reported by Deadline, broadcast NBC has pulled the show from its upcoming schedule with three episodes of the first season remaining.

When those final episodes will air remains unknown, but one of those episodes — as noted by IGN — reportedly featured a cameo by Batman actor Adam West.

Executive producer Patrick Schumacker confirmed the news on Twitter, hinting at further bad news to come, writing: “Powerless will not air this week or next. This, I know for sure. I can guess some other things but they're not good. Thanks for watching.”

Powerless stars Vanessa Hudgens, Danny Pudi, and Alan Tudyk, while Marc McClure — who played Jimmy Olsen in the Christopher Reeve ’s starring Superman series had a cameo.

The series received mixed reviews upon initial release, currently holding a 64 percent Rotten Tomatoes score with critics, while only 52 percent gave it a thumbs up.

Meanwhile, Marvel is pushing on with their TV enterprise, releasing the more comedic New Warriors series on Freeform later this year.
