Big Bang Theory: Kaley Cuoco's co-star Johnny Galecki jokes about Penny's real-life husband on Instagram

It's nice to see Penny and Leonard are still on good terms

Fans of The Big Bang Theory were left entertained by Kaley Cuoco‘s co-stars comments on her recent Instagram post.

Just under a year since the beloved sitcom drew to a close, Cuoco posted a photo with her husband Karl Cook, with whom she’s in coronavirus lockdown.

Before too long, Johnny Galecki – who played her husband Leonard in the series – replied to poke fun at his on-screen wife’s husband.

‘If, God forbid, something happens to me, can my child live in Karl’s goatee?” he wrote, which in turn prompted Kunal Nayyar – who played Raj – to reply.

“Karl’s been watching a lot of Tiger King,” he quipped, hinting that Cuoco’s husband’s facial hair was inspired by controversial figure Joe Exotic.

It’s nice to see that the cast have remained on friendly terms despite the CBS show coming to an end.

Cuoco played Penny in all 12 seasons of the series, although she auditioned to play a very different role.

In a special featurette released by CBS, the actor said she had tried out for the sitcom’s original unaired pilot, but failed to land the role of a character named Katie, who sounds worlds away from Penny.
