Barbara Dennerlein / Bheki Mseleku (Ronnie Scott's, 071-439 0747, Mon- Sat). Great double-bill: fine jazz organist, excellent South African pianist, plus their groups.

Julian Arguelles Quartet (Phoenix Arts, Leicester, 0533-555627, Sat). Pre- eminent young British saxophonist, now with a fine debut album. John Taylor is on piano.
