U2's At The Rose Bowl, documenting a performance in Pasadena, California as part of the band's 360° Tour, will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on June 7 in the UK and June 3 in the US, announced the band's website on March 30.
U2360° At The Rose Bowl, filmed on October 25, 2009, documents the penultimate gig of US's 2009 360° Tour dates in support of Grammy-nominated album No Line on The Horizon. The Rose Bowl performance was the band's biggest show of 2009 and U2's biggest-ever US show, with a live audience of more than 97,000 people.
The concert was streamed via YouTube - the first live streaming of a full-length stadium concert - pulling in more than 10 million views in one week.
U2360° At The Rose Bowl was filmed entirely in HD and directed by Tom Krueger, who also worked on U23D, a 3D concert movie from U2's Vertigo Tour.
In addition to a standard DVD format, U2360° At The Rose Bowl will be available as a 2-disc deluxe edition and on Blu-ray; the deluxe format and Blu-ray will include a new documentary called Squaring the Circle: Creating U2360° featuring new interviews with band members, manager Paul McGuinness, and the tour production team.
US's 360° Tour continues in 2010, with a US leg opening in Salt Lake City on June 3 and a European leg beginning in Turin, Italy, on August 6.
