Size isn't everything, but the second album by this Ealing trio feels destined to be even bigger than the first.

From the layers of echo on Harry McVeigh's baritone to the reverb-drenched guitars and enormous, widescreen tunes, this one was made to be heard in stadia. What's changed – a tiny shift – is that, rather than Joy Division/Interpol, they now sound inspired by 1980s scousers such as the Teardrop Explodes and the Icicle Works.
