Miley Cyrus gets spanked by Easter bunny in new photo shoot

It's part of a new project for 2018 by marking the passing holidays with photo statements

Miley Cyrus found her own unique way to celebrate Easter this year.

With a photo shoot - not one sitting traumatised with the mall Easter Bunny, but a full-on, vintage pin-up spread that sees her embrace pastel pink like a second skin.

Photographed by Vijat Mohindra, the photo series is part of a new tradition Cyrus has been practising for 2018, marking each of the passing holidays with a unique photographic memento.

In an e-mail to Vogue, she explained: "It started with Valentine’s Day on a shoot with Ellen von Unwerth, went into St. Paddy’s Day partying with some friends, and now it’s Easter."

Cyrus' looks in the photos were styled by the singer herself, with help from designer Bradley Kenneth McPeek, who designed several of the sunglasses she wears in the shoot. “If everything is cute... it works together, so pile it on and wear all your favorites at once! No such thang as too much!” she added.

She also let Vogue in on what her current Easter weekend plans are. "[I'm] going to a drag show... duh!" she wrote.
