Madonna tour: How to get tickets to intimate Madame X shows in the UK

Tickets to US shows are being sold via a ballot system

Madonna has announced a world tour to support her forthcoming album Madame X.

The tour is comprised of a string of intimate shows in the UK, Europe and the US, including a date at the London Palladium in early 2020.

The shows are being billed as “a series of rare and intimate performances to take place exclusively in theatres, giving fans an opportunity to see Madonna in an environment like they never have before”.

In the US, she will perform three separate residences at the BAM Howard Gilman Opera House in New York (from 12-22 September), the Chicago Theatre (15-21 October) and the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles (12-17 November).

The exact dates of the European shows have yet to be revealed. It has been suggested that the London performance will also take place as a residency.

Tickets for the US residencies are being allocated via a ballot system in an attempt to give fans an equal chance of attending.

Fans are invited to submit a request for a ticket in the city and price range of their choosing between now and 10 May. They will learn whether they have a ticket by next week. This will likely be used for the UK shows.

Three more singles from Madame X will be released from the album before its release on 14 June: “Crave”, which features Swae Lee, is released on 10 May.

This will be followed by “Future” featuring Migos rapper Quavo on 17 May, and “Dark Ballet” on 7 June. Madonna has already released the tracks “Medellin” featuring Colombian star Maluma, and the ballad “I Rise”.

She will perform at the Eurovision Song Contest this month in Tel Aviv.
