Faith Evans was reportedly arrested for attacking her husband last week.

Police were called to the home Evans shares with music producer Stevie J, according to TMZ.

Evans, who sings “I’ll Be Missing You”, was reportedly booked for domestic violence and released that same day.

Police say that Stevie J had “visible marks and scratches” on his face. It remains unknown what caused the alleged fight.

Evans married the producer in July 2018.

She was previously married to The Notorious BIG from 1994 until he was killed in 1997, and music executive Todd Russaw from 1998 to 2011.

The Independent has contacted a representative of Evans for comment.
