Elton John performed a duet with Taron Egerton - the actor who plays him in forthcoming biopic Rocketman
The pair treated the crowd to an impromptu rendition of 1972 hit “Tiny Dancer” with John on the piano and Egerton on vocals. It came during an auction to benefit the musician's AIDS Foundation
Rocketman is directed by Dexter Fletcher, who replaced Bryan Singer when he was fired from Bohemian Rhapsody
John hosts an Academy Awards party every year, as does Madonna. This year's ceremony saw Green Book take home Best Picture with The Favourite star Olivia Colman taking home Best Actress .
