Agnetha Faltskog, or “the blonde one from Abba”, is to release her first album in almost a decade.

Simply entitled A (that’s for Agnetha!), the album will be out in May. Her official website states that it will feature a duet with Gary Barlow and the record is the result of a collaboration with Jorgen Elofsson, who has worked with Britney Spears and Kelly Clarkson. He’s also written for Jedward and H & Claire, but weirdly her website doesn’t mention that.

Abba have sold 370 million albums and singles, and disbanded in 1982. Since then, Faltskog has gained a reputation for being somewhat of a recluse, which feels a bit unfair just because she hasn’t popped up on I’m a Celebrity…

Faltskog’s new single, “When You Really Loved Someone”, is no “The Winner Takes It All”, but should appease diehard Abba fans who await that elusive reunion.
