Letter: `Sad' city hits back

Sir: It was refreshing to read similar views to my own on Aberdeen. I have been living in Aberdeen for the last four years as a student of English at the university and this place has nearly killed me and drove me to the verge of alcoholism! I come from West Belfast- not the most scenic of areas - but Aberdeen makes it look lovely.
