Sir: Thank God the Luftwaffe did "tragically" miss the Faraday Building in the London blitz (letter, 23 November) thus sparing the lives of many Post Office operators and engineers maintaining vital telecommunications at a crucial time in our fight for the survival of our way of life and - dare I say? - architectural values. "Lest we forget" - or was that last week's soundbite?
