Swedish actress Noomi Rapace, from the original hit production of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, is in Hollywood signing up for her first English-language film roles.

Also cast in Sherlock Holmes 2, Rapace is set to star in The Last Voyage of Demeter, about Dracula's coffin traveling from Transylvania to England. Directed by Oscar-winner Stefan Ruzowitzky ( The Counterfeiters), the film features Rapace as a stowaway and the only survivor of the boat ride. Ben Kingsley co-stars.

Rapace may also be up for a role in the upcoming Mission: Impossible 4 with Tom Cruise and Jeremy Renner, reports the LA Times, as well as the Alien prequel.

For the English-language version of the The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, directed by David Fincher and starring Daniel Craig ( Quantum of Solace), Rooney Mara ( The Social Network) will play Lisbeth Salander, the role Rapace portrayed in the film and its sequels based on Stieg Larsson's best-selling series of novels.
