'Wild Things' writer makes a comeback
Maurice Sendak, the creator of Where the Wild Things Are, is to publish his first work as author-illustrator for 30 years.
The 82-year-old children's writer, below, has written several popular works in his career, but this is the first time since 1981 that he has provided both the words and pictures for a book.
Bumble-Ardy, is about a pig's birthday party. It began life as an animated piece on the television programme Sesame Street in the 1970s. It will be published by HarperCollins in the US on 6 September.
