Jodie Comer has spoken about being in love in a candid new interview.

The Killing Eve star opened up to British Vogue about her romantic life and revealed that after having been single for “a while”, she is now "in love".

When asked about love, the Bafta award-winning actor replied: “I’m very much in it.

“I think love’s the best. I’d been single for a while and just kind of going with the flow and doing my thing.”

The 26-year-old went on to imply that she hadn’t been actively looking for a relationship.

“That’s the thing, isn’t it? When you’re relaxed and letting the universe do what it’s doing, things kind of fall into place,” she added.

“Which is very much what happened. Which is great.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Comer spoke about her career and revealed she once had a period, before being cast in Killing Eve, where she couldn’t find work.

“I remember there was a year where I didn’t work for eight or nine months,” she said.

“You get up in the morning, get yourself ready, get to the train station, two-hour train, get to your audition, you’re in there for 10 minutes, and then you’re coming all the way back home.

“Sometimes I was doing it three times a week.”

Comer said that she “stunk of desperation”. She said: “Basically. It became: ‘I need the job.’ And then you go into auditions and they can smell it.”

In 2019 Comer revealed she struggled with an “unhealthy obsession with being thin” as a teenager.

“In my late teens, I was so insecure about my body,” she told Glamour magazine. “I had a really unhealthy obsession with being thin. It’s something I struggle to speak about because I can’t really remember it.

"You know when you have a moment in life where it’s a total blur?”

The Liverpudlian star has risen to prominence on international television in recent years following roles in My Mad Fat Diary, Thirteen, and Doctor Foster.
