Apparently it's impossible to stop the crying (Joker Greeting)

If we were to believe our Facebook walls, everyone seems to be getting engaged, married or pregnant.

Sometimes it can be tricky to come up with an appropriate response to such momentous events.

But now, jokers Travis and Nick Peterson have invented a card to give new parents a taste of what they’ve got to look forward to, before their bundle of joy arrives.

The card features the screams of a baby that cannot be stopped even if the card is ripped or crushed.

Worse of all, each time the sound button is pushed, the child’s screams get louder.

The greeting card, which has an innocuous looking picture of a sleeping baby on the front, has the message, ‘the gift that keeps on giving’ inside.

The card is one of several designed by Joker Greeting, a Kickstarter project. The founders describe the card on the site as a way to "welcome soon-to-be parents to the joys of parenthood with the soothing sounds of incessant crying."

Priced at just $12, the card has a test-function that buyers can try out before they give it to the parents-to-be.
