Coleen Rooney accuses Rebekah Vardy of leaking her Instagram stories to The Sun

Vinnie Jones has claimed that Coleen Rooney and Rebekah Vardy are “an embarrassment to their husbands” following their war of words on social media.

Appearing on Good Morning Britain, Jones compared the pair negatively to his late wife Tanya, whom he claimed rejected fame and opportunities to sell stories on other footballers.

“She turned [fame] away,” Jones said. “The thing with Tans, you look at the paper now with the two football wives, Tanya got offered hundreds and hundreds of opportunities to do modelling and do stories and she never done none of them. She’s the opposite to these girls now.”

“People ask me, ‘What do you think of these two girls?’ and I think it’s quite funny,” he continued.

“But what an embarrassment to their husbands, no thought of their kids.”

Last week Rooney took to Twitter with claims that she had set up an elaborate sting operation to identify the individual who had been selling stories to tabloid newspapers about her and husband Wayne.

After posting fictitious stories to a private Instagram account, she alleged that it was solely an account owned by Vardy that had viewed the stories and then taken their contents to tabloid reporters.

Vardy denied that she had sold stories on Rooney.

While appearing on Good Morning Britain, Jones also said that he believes he will one day be reunited with his wife, who died in May following a six-year battle with cancer.

Our time here is minute, so it’s not a problem for me,” he said through tears. “I know I’ll see her again.”
