Spider-man star Tom Holland hosted a virtual “pub quiz” on Instagram, with questions themed around the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Holland hosted the event from his home, with more than 180,000 people tuning in to participate. The quiz was designed to raise money for his family’s charity organisation The Brothers Trust.

The quiz included questions such as: "How many Iron Man suits did Tony Stark create?” and "Who did Kat Dennings play in Thor?”

Some were more obscure than others, with one particularly esoteric question asking participants to identify the number of MJ’s hotel room in Spider-man: Far From Home.

“If you know this, you’re a creep,” joked Holland.

After reading through the list of questions, the actor then chatted with individual fans via video link while going through the answers. Holland even convinced one fan to play him a song on the guitar, after noticing that she was speaking to him from a fully equipped music room.

People voiced their appreciation for the event on Twitter, with one commenter describing it as "the sweetest thing".

"This Tom Holland pub quiz is so chaotic, I love it," wrote another.

The British actor is set to reprise the role of Peter Parker in the final film in the Homecoming trilogy, which has recently been pushed back from 16 July to 5 November 2021.

Earlier this week, Holland appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where he impersonated his famous Spider-man character for the benefit of Kimmel’s three-year-old son.
