Tom Hanks has shared a photo of the blood plasma he is donating to help find a vaccine for Covid-19.

The actor and his wife Rita Wilson tested positive for coronavirus in March. They have now fully recovered and been told they are immune to the virus.

On Twitter, Hanks shared a photo of a bag containing a pale yellow liquid, along with the caption: “Here's last week's bag of plasma. Such a bag! After the paperwork, it’s as easy as taking a nap.”

Earlier this month, Hanks had joked about the creation of a 'Hank-ccine' using his donated blood.

The couple were among the first high-profile stars to contract coronavirus. They fell ill in Australia where Hanks was filming Baz Luhrmann's upcoming Elvis Presley biopic.

After they recovered and returned to the US, Hanks and Wilson enrolled in a medical study to determine if their antibodies would be useful for scientists working on developing a vaccine.

They were subsequently been approved to donate blood because they do “carry the antibodies”.

Hanks recently gave his typewriter to an eight-year-old Australian boy named Corona, who had written to the star about being bullied because of his name.

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen

Both Legend and Teigen have shared multiple glimpses into their home, as the Grammy-award winning singer hosted a coronavirus concert live stream last week on Instagram while Teigen has been sharing shots of family meals.

The pair previously shared a glimpse inside their gorgeous Beverly Hills home - which they purchased from Rihanna - to Architectural Digest.

Designed by Kanye West’s architect friend Don Stewart, the home pays homage to Teigen’s Thai heritage as Legend revealed Stewart felt it “reminded him of a Thai temple.”

Fittingly, the couple brought a number of Asian pieces into the home, including an intricately carved wooden door.

Full of rich dark woods, a huge couch and a custom-made chandelier which has the lyrics to John Legend’s songs carved into its bulbs, you’ll also recognise the walnut-brown grand piano from Legend’s recent concert livestream.

The house also offers a breathtaking view over Los Angeles from a stunning patio with a pool.

Jennifer Lopez and A-Rod

We can’t go out to any restaurants or anything but the service and entertainment here is pretty good...😊 ##StaySafe ##Max 💚

While we’ve also touched on J.Lo’s Parasite-inspired backyard, the rest of the house is pretty impressive.

J.Lo and A-Rod have made no secret of their gym bunny lifestyle and their home workout room is on par with any professional facility. In spite of that however, they were photographed leaving their home and heading to a Miami gym - which had been closed to the public over the pandemic period.

A-Rod - a former professional baseball player - also provided more glimpses of their backyard with his impromptu baseball clinic.

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel

Timberlake and Biel appear to have left their home in Los Angeles for a gorgeous natural escape, which probably means that they have retreated to their second home in Big Sky Montana.

The pair own a house that is part of the Yellowstone Club, one of the most exclusive members only clubs in the entire world which counts Bill and Melinda Gates and Google’s Eric Schmidt amongst its clientele.
